O.B.E.

This augmented reality installation uses GPS signals to lead the audience to five locations and five dance scenes.  The performances by the Egomaschinenagenten (Ego Machine Agents, or EMA) are experienced by the audience members using their own mobile telephones. A narrative voice leads from locations to locations, from scene to scene – and takes on the role of one’s own inner voice. In Egopassagen, Anke Schiemann playfully places the focus on human consciousness as a stimulator of reality.
